Fairies, Fairies and Butterflies…

A fairy.. this is one of Lily of the Valley’s beautiful Fairy stamps, on Whisper white with Adirondack Espresso and coloured with Prisma-Colour pencils and dashed with lots of Glamour Dust – should there be a card without glamour dust? This was my entry for the Clean and Simple challenge over at SCS – did you check it out yet?

Girls just want to have fun

Girls just want to have fun

So the week is almost half through but there are lots of lovely daffodils around and the nights a most definitely lighter and the mornings will be following suit pretty soon – all round a great time of the year! There are lots of spring inspired cards over here at Crafting the Web which are definitely worth a look. In fact, I think it might be high time to CASE one of their superb designs and maybe  time for a tutorial too! That is what I will be working on for the remains of the week I think….

Another Fairy…

Busy Bee Gorjuss Girl

I simply adore the Gorjuss girls – this card I did for the Featured Stamper challenge over at SplitCoast Stampers. This was my inspiration card here, and above is my version. You may remember that for this challenge we have to go to the Gallery of the chosen stamper, choose a card and change at least two things on it then produce a version.  I love this challenge – it is so inspiring seeing someone else’s work and this particular girl – Quixotic – is so very talented!

And finally for this post some butterflies…again another challenge card. This one was for the Inspiration Challenge again over at SCS. In this challenge we were given some pictures and a website to visit for inspiration. The items I chose for inspiration were a silver butterfly necklace and this dress here. What I came up with was this…

Together we can - butterflies

The CS is Bazzill Basic and K&Co Mira Paisley Ombre, the stamps are Clarity Stamp Together, Corner, SU Bliss, Lavinia Stamps Butterfly and I finished off with lots of gold embossing powder ont he corners and butterflies.

Right – so it looks like I have a challenge ahead – to get another tutorial sorted and have a spring card ready as soon as possible. Fingers crossed…

So til next time don’t forget to stamp you place in the world!

Love “Girls just want to have fun”, what a stunning card. Bought her at the SECC but she’s not out of the packet yet! X
