Goodness gracious me but where did that lovely weather come from?
I confess to spending lots of R+R sat in my lovely garden watching the weeds grow and enjoying the warm sun on my face….it seems so long since we have had sustained sunshine. Mind you, the last few days with the thunder and lightening have been interesting and unfortunately the driving rain seems to have lifted the flashing off my roof and we now have a small leak in our ‘library’. We are not really posh enough to have a library really but we do have a space between our first floor landing and the bathroom which now houses all our book cases and books….so it could be a library…if you squint hard enough!!!
What do I have for you today my Lovelies? Well a mixed bag really. The new Ideas Book and Catalogue is well and truly launched now and the first ‘new product’ workshops is this weekend. I have a terrific group of ladies who come to me for classes and I am looking forward to seeing them and chatting with them all this weekend.
Have you got your new Ideas Book and Catalogue? If not you can order one by using that PayPal button over there and I will get one out to you in the post ASAP!
If any of you have noticed that there are no ‘Seasonal’ items in the Ideas Book and Catalogue…well spotted….but there is a good reason, no a terrific reason for that and that is that coming 1st September we have the arrival of the New Seasonal Mini!!! I am so excited as I have seen it and I know there are loads of fantastic new products coming our way! I cannot wait! WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
Ok…do I have any pics for you this time? hhhmmmm…. This first is a card I made for one of MB friends – he is a keen sailor and owns a boat that he sails on the broads – we keep meaning to go visit…First of all I made a masking area – or rather I cut a shape out of a pice of card – and taped it to my work board with my card stock underneath. Then I lightly sponged the background colours in. Lastly I added the yacht. Add in some matting and layering and Hey Presto a masculine card!
The flowers are made with some old newsprint DSP punched with Mixed Bunch flower punch and the edges are sponged with the new In-Colours. I wrapped the polystyrene wreath in the same DSP cut into 2inch strips and soaked in rice water. I left it to dry overnight and simply added the ribbon with my hot glue gun and the flowers came next. This next project is something I made this last week……I needed to ‘just make’. I had seen this made before and was wanting to give it a go and I am delighted with the end result. I cannot wait for the new Season papers to come in from Stampin Up because I want to make this in Christmas Paper – I think it might look amazing!
And finally, I have allowed Stampdelicious by Stamp to roll through July as I was off my feet busy…no really, I was. honestly, it wasn’t all sunbathing…..
Anyway, the next projects are ready and I have two options for you……but first the projects….
This time we are making ALL these! yep, all of them! including the delightful set of four at the front! I think these were mostly designed or inspired by Dawn Griffith and you can link to her here. I love her projects!!!

2. ALL these projects plus the Chalk Talk stamp set to make them over and over your self, and a small heads up, as well as the Frame-lits which are already available to match up with this brilliant stamp set, there might very well be something coming to team up with it in the New Seasonal Mini..so UBER versatile!!!! definitely an all season stamp set! What is the cost of all these projects and the Stamp set? just a BARGAIN at £30! Okay – that’s me done for tonight…still some prep to do for the workshop at the weekend – if you didn’t get a place booked there will be another in the Autumn time and we will be focusing on Seasonal Makes then.
