Hello there…it’s been a while…HipHipHooray!!!

Hello there, it’s been a while hasn’t it? I apologise as I have been spending quite a lot of time doing other types of crafting. On top of that I have been looking after my son – some of you will remember he had an accident playing rugby back in October?  Well, he finally has had reconstructive knee surgery and he has been back to square one of being pretty dependant. He is still on crutches at the moment but he is definitely on the upward curve now. And a big Thank You to all the ladies who have emailed me in the last couple of months to check that everything is okay – I appreciate your concern and loved your messages for my son! Thank You!!!

Right on with business – it is finally time to get back to crafting properly and to bring back – by popular demand!!! – Stampdelicious by Stamp….but before I do lets get up to date with Stampin’ UP!

Oh AND New Equipment!!!!   This is amazing!!!

DemoHeader_TextureBoutique_Demo_Jan28_ENThis nifty little machine will do all your embossing quick as a flash!!!!  It is made by Sizzix – an amazing product company – and comes in at only £26.95 – Read all about it here: (Link Here)

And finally before we get onto Stampdelicious by Post – picture

We have a fabulous new card making kit that has just come out – everything you need to make 20 fast and fabulous cards! Read all about it here – (Link Here) – I am currently waiting for mine to arrive…YES THAT IS HOW NEW THEY ARE!!!!!  I can’t wait and will be making mine up into packs of 5 notes to give as Easter gifts to my girlfriends who are dieting!

Ok – are you ready?   Stampdelicious by Stamp is returning!!!!! YAYYAYAYAY!!!! I know – I have had so many emails about this it is unbelievable!!!!

So how does it work?  Well I post taster pics of projects that are in the kit. The kit costs £17.99 and includes all materials except basic tools for making 3/4 projects, so all the cardstock, die cuts, ribbons, pearls etc you provide the glue, tape, scissors etc.  The kit is posted out to you and the instructions are emailed to you. There is absolutely NO REQUIREMENT to have a kit every time.  So all the ‘rules’ are the same except for one – for the moment I am only able to run Stampdelicious by Stamp every other month. I am still heavily involved with getting my son back on his feet and do all the physio with him, so for now I am only able to bring this back Bi-Monthly.

When is it going to start? Why RIGHT NOW!!!! here are your fist couple of teaser pictures…..remember that all materials will be provided except the basic tool kit, You can sign up using the PAYPAL button over there on the right hand side, sign up will be up to and including 22nd March and all kits will be posted by 29th March. If you have not joined in with Stampdelicious by Stamp before please ensure you send your postal address on the notes section of your PayPal payment. Okay here goes….OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHmmmm……Easter box rose tags round pot

Intrigued?   Hopefully you will be!!!! I see a lot of rolled flowers going on there and I did mention that we will be using items from the new Spring/Summer catalogue…..If you have ANY questions – please do not hesitate to email me at stampdelicious@gmail.com.

Until next time – remember to stamp your place in the world!!! xxxx

November? surely not….

I cannot believe that November was the last time I posted here….I have been to Convention since then, Father Christmas has visited, the year has changed….

….And a Happy and Healthy New Year to you!  Gosh, where does all the time go to?  There must be a huge shelf somewhere that all my time has been put on cos’ I sure don’t seem to have much of it spare lying around and whats more, if the person who keeps taking all my time ( and presumably storing it on said shelf!!!) would just stop…I would be very grateful! Thank you.

Okay so this is the year of being organised…well that is what I told myself back in December….and I am trying…honest! I have got my filofax out – yep – gone back to paper organisation, I have cleaned the household blackboard and started adding family things to it…I have made a list of the Design Team dates for each of the DT’s I am on and I have a plan to buy a Year Planner so that I can keep track of classes etc…so thats the plan…now I need time to put it all into action!!!!

Ok so here is some great news….Stampin Up have started the year off with A Whole Lot of Love flyerTH_wholelotoflove_demo_12.1-1.27.2014_EU

awholelotoflove_stamps

These have to be some of the most delightful Love stamps I have seen in a long time and you will find me posting projects made with these in the not too distant future (…honest!).  If you want to purchase these – and it is not really long until Valentines!!!! – just head over to my online shop (Did you know you can click the coloured words and be taken directly to the site!!!! how clever...)and place your order – it will be delivered right to your door!!!!

Whats is more – there is 80% off  items on the Stampin’ Up! CLEARANCE RACK – but only while stocks last!!!!!  What are you waiting for? get on over and grab your self a bargain!

Now I am going to round up this post with a photo heavy section showing pictures of makes from convention and some Christmas cards I made for giving away as well as some non Stampin’ Up projects – however there is almost certainly something on every project that is a Stampin’ up product even if it is the paper I have used for the colouring in – Yes, if you are a Copic or a Promarker person, Whisper White card stock gives a really good finish with these pens as well as Prisma pencils. Ok – coffee or tea at the ready…..? And please remember that most of the Christmas items are still available until the end of January if you want something you see in my projects….just drop me an email at stampdelicious@gmail.com and I will tell you the item Name, price and order code!  On with the pics….Oh…and if you see a design, and it looks like something you have created and I have CASED it, firstly apologies for not giving immediate credit for your work but please drop me an email so I can give you credit as I have CASED quite a few designs but lost my notes as to who they belonged to…I am always happy to give credit for CASED items xxxxIMG_3331wtmk

The Stampin’ Up! products are more subtle here but there is Whisper white (stamped and coloured images) Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler for the flowers, a punch for the Sentiment, and two die cuts: the Ovals and the Card stock behind the main image is half a Top Note Die!!!! Also the stamped Snowflake is Stampin’ Up! too!IMG_3267wtmkThe lovely Poinsettia is a Stampin Up stamp stamped and embossed onto Stampin’ Up! vellum and embellished with Frosted Embellishments!!!

So until next time – and lets not leave it so long shall we?…remember to stamp your place in the world! xxxx

It’s on it’s way……

It’s on it’s way….yep Christmas is coming and as always I am far from ready!  I am still prepping for Convention which is just over a week away now. I am no where near ready for that either.  I do, however, have quite a few cards ready for writing and sending….and today I have two things for you…

Week 5 of Twelve weeks of Christmas…Here is a super quick card – I have managed to make 10 of these little beauty’s just this morning to add to my growing pile.  They are fabulously simple and use the Fabulously easy to use Envelope Board. Now I have been wanting to make something for you with the new tool from Stampin’ Up for a while – since I got it  – to be honest but havent quite got round to it…I also used Be Merry stamp which is one of the single Christmas stamps available right now as well which works really well with the Chalk Talk framelits.  And remember, you can buy any of the items I use in my projects directly from my online shop here – http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/stampdelicious   – just click the link and have your favourite crafting goodies delivered right to your door!

And second on my list…..

The final Stampdelicious by Stamp of the year (possibly!!!!)  yes this will  possibly be that last one for 2013 – and what a fabulous year you ladies have made it for me. Stampdelicious by Stamp has been far more successful than I could possibly have hoped and lots of you have emailed me with great ideas for moving it forward into the New Year – thank you for those ideas and please keep them coming. I may not use them all but I certainly appreciate the interest you have all taken in keeping Stampdelicious by Stamp going for next year!

So what are we getting for the final projects Lorraine? I am so glad you asked me…..I thought we would finish the year off with a stamp a stack…that means that you will make a stack of cards – Christmas of course! – ready for sending out.  I am going to put a strict time limit on this so I can get everything out to you as quickly as possible so…

Christmas Stamp A Stack by Stampdelicious by Stamp

Lest we forget….

To day is Remembrance Sunday….need I say more. I find this to be terribly emotional and cannot watch the Remembrance Sunday ceremony on the television except at a distance. This doesn’t mean that I am ignoring it or denying anything. My Mum, who was born just before WWII, was very big on remembering what happened, the people that she personally lost as a result of the war and all the terrible things that went on and people endured. My Mum held some strong opinions about the bad people on all sides and took time to ensure that we understood there were two sides to every war and that neither ever did anything to recommend themselves. Both side were equally as heinous in their own way.

She never missed the Ceremonies and programs about it. Consequently neither did  we as children. As a result, I have a pronounced view on the war, the atrocities and consequences. Winners and losers and in my opinion, there were very few winners.

My Mum is no longer with us and she is badly missed. She would have loved to see the Remembrance Service today on such a clean and crisp morning, with the sun shining and the world looking good in it’s frosty coat.

When I observe my minutes silence this morning to remember all the fallen, I will also remember my Mum.

Lest we forget….

Hey Girls

I am feeling particularly childless right now – my eldest boy is away at Uni and my youngest is away playing rugby with his school in Amsterdam so for the first time ever – I have no children.   It is not a great feeling I can tell you…there are no Halloween preparations going on, no! NONE at all! we dont make a big fuss but the boys usually have come to ‘discuss’ some costume or other they need help making, I am sure you know the sort I am talking about: the scary mad scientist outfit covered in fake blood, the strange glowing alien from outer space covered in fake blood, the mad psychopath with the blood encrusted saw….Yep , I have made them all!!!   But not this year. So I  made a Halloween banner instead! And here it is….Now there are lots of pics as I was taking them with my phone – I have hung the banner up across the window above my sink so I get to see itIMG_3087wtmk IMG_3088wtmk IMG_3089wtmk IMG_3090wtmk IMG_3091wtmk

I have used the fabulous Halloween Banner kit for this but because I have made a 9 piece banner I have added some retired images onto there as well – I love this stamp set the images are fabulous!!!

Right I am away to wallow in self pity and wait you my boy to come back form his trip – we are attending a bonfire and firework display at the weekend and then bonfire food back at home – I cant wait!!!

Till next time , remember to stamp your place in the world!!! XXX

Deviant….me? It is Halloween….

Just a quickie ladies to show you something I have been working on lately…It is not Stampin’ Up! I warn you….however, breaking away from Stampin’ Up! crafting to do something else allows me to come back refreshed….

The image comes from Deviant Art – the link is HERE, and I used Copics and Coloursoft/Prismacolor pencils to colour it…..I hope oyu like this and I will be back later in the week with some Halloween fun!

IMG_7262wtmkUntil next time…remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx
