Reason to Smile….There’s more than one!

Oh my goodness but I am loving the Reason to Smile stamp set!  Not just because FROM 1ST AUGUST to 31ST AUGUST inclusive, you can get it FREE or if you prefer BUY it in your favourite stamping format either wood mount or clear mount….but because it has to be one of the most versatile stamp sets I have ever had!   I have used it loads already and thought I would share some of the projects we made at our Stamp a Stack last week using just this stamp set….

This first one is a CASE but sadly I cannot remember where from (if it’s yours please drop me an email so I can give you your due respect please!) and is made with Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Melon Mambo (haven’t used that colour for a while!!!!) with Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon and the delightful Adorning Accents embossing folder in the background.

I was so pleased with how this one turned out – I love cards that are made with a simple colour scheme and they don’t come much more simple than this – Whisper White and Elegant Eggplant ink pad and water colour pencil. Simple!

This delightful card was CASEd from Kelly Aichison – she makes some lovely cards and is so into the Reason to Smile stamp set just like me.  This one features Vellum, Whisper White, Basic Grey (don’t think I have EVER used this colour before) and Pretty in Pink. I was so pleased with the colour combination here, I was pretty afraid of the Basic Grey but actually it’s growing on me….

And finally, this lovely combination of Daffodil Delight and Concorde Crush – heavenly! There is also Whisper White and Crumb Cake to complete the combination. The key element in all these cards is the wonderful and versatile Reason to Smile stamp set – You can have it for FREE – just place an order with me for £60 between  1ST AUGUST to 31ST AUGUST inclusive, and it is YOURS!

Alternatively, RIGHT NOW if your order totals £45 or more you will automatically receive the delightful Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad set absolutely FREE!  which adds up to even more FREEBIE goodness!

Talking of Stamp a Stack – we have a Technique Tornado Day coming up on the 28th – You could be taking part as there are still three places left on this class. Due to popular demand – that means the regulars telling me what they want to make!- we are making a basket and filling it with lovely summer flowers – I love this project and cannot wait to get making with the girls! There will be paper roses everywhere! we will also be making a matching gift card to go with it just in case you are wanting to give it away….To book your place simply use the PayPal button up there on the right hand side where it says Technique Tornado Day and we will see you on the Day – 28th July, Table Table, Pheonix Park, Linwood, 10.00 am! see you there

Now I know the last couple of posts haven’t had much in the way of chat in them. This doesn’t mean that nothing much has been going on in my life…OH NO! what it means is that there has been so much going on, and not all of it good that I really don’t know where to start! Maybe when I get to seeing the funny side of some of the ‘rich tapestry’ that life has been handing to me and my family recently, then I will share it with you, but for the moment, suffice to say, we are having more than our fair share of challenging times. I do keep reminding myself that we still have a lovely home, food in our cupboards and are all relatively healthy (Okay, Youngest still having leg trouble and my Dad is still conveniently deaf as a post, Oldest boy still partying too much and MB keeps going on that he thinks he is ‘coming down with a cold’, but relatively speaking…..) and under those circumstances you have to be thankful and be clear that someone else is almost certainly having a worse time than we are. I wish them well and send them my love….

Okay, off to make some more lovelies for you and thanking whomever is keeping an eye on us for the fact that we are still all together. So till next time, remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx
